Humpty Dumpty needs generous donors to fulfil some of the many wishes requested by hospitals and health service centres right across Australia. Every donation and equipment pledge, no matter how big or small, makes a significant difference to the health and well-being of our precious children. You can make a donation or read on to see how an equipment donation works.
All wishes that appear on Humpty’s Wish List are equally important. They have been rigorously assessed by Humpty’s Medical Sub Committee in the hope that a donor comes forward to grant their important wish.
In accordance with Humpty’s deductable gift recipient status, donations and equipment pledges are 100% tax deductable.
The donor process
Donors can choose which piece of equipment and what hospital or health service they would like to support from Humpty’s Wish List.
Once you have decided on an item you would like to purchase please contact Humpty on 02 9439 0511 to complete the Wish List process. Humpty can of course take your payment over the phone or an invoice can be issued. Cheques can be made payable to the 'Humpty Dumpty Foundation' and can be posted to Humpty at Talus Street, St Leonards NSW 2065. All pledges are 100% tax deductible.
Once Humpty has received payment from the donor the hospital is notified that their wish has been granted. The equipment is then purchased by Humpty from the medical supplier on behalf of the donor and is delivered directly to the hospital.
Donors have the opportunity of providing plaque details which can be affixed directly to the piece of equipment that they have purchased. This unique Humpty plaque in recognition of the donors’ generosity is sent to the hospital to be affixed to the equipment.
All donors’ have the opportunity to visit the hospital and view the equipment they have donated. If donors wish to visit a hospital please contact Humpty and it will be arranged in accordance with the hospital.
Ensuring sick kids have a fighting chance by finding the best medical equipment and care available.
